Porch Repair

July 10, 2007 · 3 Comments

How I love home projects.  I love the idea of taking something old and making it new.  I brought my home in April 2005.  It is an old house dating back to the 1930’s.  It is a rental property dwelling; I live in the first floor unit.  I am so exciting because my porch is almost done.  I am spenting about $23o0 on this project.  I think it is well worth it…and when its done, I’ll post the picture.  My next project is to renovate my tired kitchen. I want to take down the popcorn ceiling (YUCK!!!) and purchase new cabinets so to create something like a country kitchen.

You’re a very brave person! I’m sure I would smash a finger with the hammer or glue my foot to the floor! Bet you’re best friends with the team at Loews and Home Depot! Good Luck

You can invite us all to sit on your finished porch and have a lemonade!

Popcorn ceiling – I can relate to that one! Our previous owners did that to our ceilings too. Good luck. Like Linda said, we’ll all come over for lemonade! :-)
