Prior to reading, I heard so many good things about this book, so I unfortunately decided to give it a try.   It wasn’t exciting  or interesing at all; boring plot–couldn’t relate.  Perhaps, I expected too much.  However, SOLD was terrific.

I can already guess what the book was about, guess if you can’t relate to it, it’s difficult to like it

Still, I think this book has a place in every junior or high school library. It covers a topic rarely spoken about.

At my junior high, they had an English teacher take it off her shelves because they had some kids apparently cutting themselves.? I don’t know if the kids cutting themselves is true or not because that didn’t happen when I went there.
